Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone

It’s Been a busy month, getting ready for Christmas then getting ready for New Years and now it’s all over for another year and back to work 🙁

What’s new for 2023, we have been busy working with the new DriveOn Tablet, some like it some hate it but it’s here to stay, the next phase is to connect it to the new updated DriveOn Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program which was to launch January 1 but has been delayed and an update to the launch will be announced, in the meantime here is what we know…… FIRST, And most important is you DO NOT have to buy both inspection tablet and emissions equipment. This has been mis-read and rumoured for the last few months, The new inspection program will only replace the yellow sticker portion of your inspection, ALL INSPECTIONS will be performed as normal and when the vehicle is completed instead of filling in the booklet for the yellow sticker you will be using a Tablet, then a QR decal will be PRINTED and attached to the vehicle inspected, THATS IT! The Emissions portion continues the same as before at the owners discretion when they would like it done. The owner / company will receive a renewal notice in the mail with Red stars indicating what is REQUIRED to renew their licence plates, both Emission and Annual Will need to be current in order to renew your plates, an example is the customer’s plates expire in August 2023, emissions was done in December 2022 and Annual was done in September 2022, they can renew their plates because when they go for the plates BOTH Emissions and Annual are current in the system AT THE TIME OF LICENSING!

And as usual for more information please WAIT till the program launches and more documentation is available on the web, in the meantime if you are looking for your Emissions test we are here to help you
